Don't take my word for it! I bought it because it says "retinol alternative" for my morning routine. And I'm impressed! I felt tightening and firming of my 59 year old skin right on first application. On 3rd, I'm not sure if it is my imagination, but I can see smoother and finer changes. So, on the 4th day I looked closely and after 5 minutes, the white thin light creamy serum was absorbed easily. It seems that the skin imbibes the serum well. My aging skin looks healthier and I cannot wait if it will transform me after several months.
Here's how I use it in the morning:
1. Cold water rinse
2. HSGN Vitamin C
3. Viegano licorice root+ tranexamic acid serum (for my mild melasma, I just started this too this week!
4. Viegano bakuchiol
5. moisturizer (with niacinamide like Olay regenerist)
6. Sunscreen

I thought that this serum wouldn’t do much but the bakuchiol in it is actually effective! Makes your skin look smoother. Love how plush it feels on the skin too.

Appreciate that this has no discernible scent. Dropper picks up and dispenses product well- (packaging is also beautiful and recyclable). Has a lush creamy/milky serum texture. Spreads across the face nicely and absorbs quickly. Leaves a soft, smooth finish. No tackiness or greasy feel. Immediately leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. Layers well in my routine. I experienced no irritation or redness.
With consistent use, I think this has helped with firmness especially. My skin feels more “bouncy” and looks more plump. My complexion looks more even overall as well. This serum has given me gradual improvement and is the type of product you really notice when it’s not in your lineup! Definitely impressed!

This is my first Viegano brand serum. I've applied it consistently for over a month every night (along with "Foretderm's Vegan Sunscreen" every morning. Note: Bakuchiol is a retinol alternative that CAN be applied during the day, in SUNLIGHT w/ no issues. I simply apply it @ night bc it replaced my previous PM serum). I have noticed improvements in my overall skintone and brightness. I noticed this, especially on the days I expected my skin to appear more dull (ie, monthly week of plummeting hormonez..). After applying this serum, my face looked brighter, more hydrated, and healthier. This one actually worked for me (it was gradual and subtle..but it def worked). Now, I'm curious about Viegano and their other serums, too.
Also, not skincare related, but the product packaging, little olive-green colored glass container and ochre-colored dropper are all so beautiful and well-made! There are directions on how to recycle the container after using it all up, but I really think I want to repurpose it, somehow. Maybe I'll use it to store other skincare products! It's well-made.

I bought all 4 of Viegano serums and have been using them for over 2 months now and this one is my fav for firming and hydrating. It must be the bakuchiol! This is so great for when I'm not using retinol or to use on top of HSGN vitamin c serum. My is at its best these days thanks using this with vitamin c serum.
